Drowning in daisies

The Point is overthrown by bright yellow Giant Coreopsis. They look like daisies. I planned to run at Little Dume but the tide was high and I couldn't get around Little Dume to make a nice long run. So instead, I ran around the point and back down to Westward and out to Zuma and back. The yellow flowers are in full bloom and covering the point. Yellow is such as happy color and they are so dense and concentrated that they shock you with their happy overthrow of the point. Not the sand/stairs run I was hoping for but I got to see whales at Westward.
