Dear Sugarloaf,

Very, very nice to meet you. I found you by searching Google satellite maps trying to find the closest trails. You are about 2 right turns and 2 miles away. Now when I drive home from work I can't stop thinking about you because I see your trails from the freeway for a few miles before my exit. I just can't get you off my mind.

Your trails are tucked in between a major freeway and the bustling city of Walnut Creek. You're open to the skies with a few steep ascents and unobstructed views of Mt Diablo. Orchard trail leads through a small orchard of walnut trees and connects with Ridgetop Trail. A small, delightful open space where I've seen coyotes and deer and many birds.
