Sugarloaf Revisited

Almost 4 years ago I moved back to Maui after living in Alamo for a year. I used to go to Sugarloaf for a hike on the weekends. It was only a few miles from my house. Today was a bright winter day. I saw a coyote in the distance and many squirrels racing around the trail just a few hundred yards from the trailhead. Beautiful, clear view of Mt. Diablo. I am grateful for protected open spaces.
