Dear Chesebro, You swing with the best of them.

Every so often I stop by the swing set at the end of the Chesebro trail run. It cuts my run short by 1 mile but the swing provides two benefits - absolute abandon and a complientary hip massage. When you swing, your legs are engaged and your hips are shifting in the swing. It feels a bit like foam rolling without the pain. I rarely stop to swing, but when I do, I wonder why I don't. It's magical and fun and freeing. I swing as high as possible and listen to dance music. If I swing I give myself the excuse of skipping the foam roller since it feels sort of like foam rolling for the hips. Well, it's a good excuse.
