Ready for takeoff

Talepop is filled with dandelions and sparkling with dew under a brilliant sky. The trail is completely overgrown in the meadow valley and along the ridge. It's choked with tall, billowy mustard plants and gentle soft green weeds. I can't see the actual trail itself so I slow to a walk in many places. Even though I know every twist and turn, I don't want to trip on the uneven ground that I can no longer see because it's covered in waist high weeds. As I run through the flora I'm picking up a layer of dew and bright yellow mustard flower petals. The dew forms a chilly layer on my shoes, legs, pants and arms. The bits of yellow flowers are bright little smiles all over my body. I laugh when I see how they cover my clothes. When I reach the top after making my way through the otherwise overgrown trail, the sky opened up to swallow me. It feels like flying.
