Sexy Bridge at Grasslands

Dear Grasslands,

Your bridge is so alluring under a canopy of trees with the singletrack winding off into the distance. I haven't seen your sexy bridge snapped into my mind as I was running the brief, and ugly, pavement connector from Phantom Trail to Liberty Canyon this morning.

So, I added an extra couple of miles, and headed for Grasslands, because I knew the light would be perfect at the bridge. Yep. It was.

I came across your bridge on my first run from the De Anza parking lot. The trail was completely obliterated in fog. I couldn't see more than 40 feet in front of me. It was a wet, heavy fog in the early morning on a weekday. I could hear the busy Las Virgenes Road until I turned onto Grasslands and came across this bridge. I was on my way back on an out and back run and I never crossed a bridge, so I knew I was lost. I couldn't hear the traffic on the road to guide me. Eventually I found my way back to the parking lot. Your bridge reminds me of that foggy day.
