Run with the Turkeys

Dear Turkeys,

Some people run with the bulls. I run past the turkeys. This pretty girl was sitting by the trail and was undisturbed as I went by. I hope she is feeling ok. I think she was just trying to cool off in the shade. I heard many other turkeys gobble gobbling close by so this is one of their homes. I'm grateful they are such accommodating guests. Humans are relentlessly paving over the earth. I feel blessed to get on the trail and especially blessed whenI'm greeted (tolerated) by the fauna. Thank you Turkey Girl.
