Kailua beach is a wide white sandy beach that stretches for miles. It's the perfect beach for walking and running because it has hard pack sand that stretches for 3 miles from Kailua/Lanikai to Kaneohe. In the early mornings you will see lots of dogs with their humans. You can pretty much always park, especially if you know the side streets well. It has spectacular views of the offshore islands called the Moks.
