Mean Green Juice from Joe

Reboot with Joe

  • 1 cucumber

  • 4 celery stalks

  • 2 green apples (I use 1 apple)

  • 8 kale leaves with stalks

  • 1 lemon or lime

  • 1 in piece of organic ginger

Peel lemon, core apples, juice.

 

This is good!

  • Grapefruit

Green Juice

  • 6 kale leaves, or handful of spinach

  • 1 head romaine lettuce

  • 2 celery stalks

  • 1 medium cucumber

  • 1 green apple

  • 1 lemon

  • 1" piece ginger

Trader Joe's Juice

 

This was my daily staple when I lived in the Bay Area and went to Trader Joes almost every day. It fills two mason jars, one for drinking on the way to work, one for later in the afternoon.

  • 1 beet

  • 2 bunches romaine lettuce

  • 2 apples

  • 1 lime or lemon

  • 1 big chunk ginger

  • 1 handful cilantro

  • 2-3 carrots

  • 2 perisan cucumbers

  • occasional additions: cabbage, 1 bunch celery

Whatever Ya Got Juice

  • 2 beets

  • 1 pear

  • 2 apples

  • 1 lime

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 big chunk ginger

 

Some fruits and roots that are ready to be juiced. Made on the same morning as the supercharged celery juice.

Supercharged Celery Juice

  • 1 bunch celery

  • 1 shot oat grass juice

Celery juice with a booster of oat grass juice. I use oat grass because I grow it for the Sweetie cat, so it is accessible and ready for harvesting. 

Celery Juice

  • 1-2 bunches celery

Great for cleansing. 

Red Pepper Juice

  • 1 red pepper

  • 1 apple

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 cucumber (small Persian cucumber)

  • 2 stalks celery

  • 2 inches ginger root

  • 1 bunch romaine

Red bell pepper is sweet so I don't add beets.

Beet Cabbage Celery Juice

  • 1 beet

  • 1 apple

  • 1/4 small green cabbage

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 cucumber (small Persian cucumber)

  • 2 stalks celery

  • 2 inches ginger root

  • 6 chard leaves

  • 1/2 bunch cilantro

Use the pulp for juice crackers.

Radish Detox Juice

 

RawEdibles

  • 2 bunches of radishes (or 2 cups daikon radish - any type of radish will work)

  • 2 apples

  • 6 stalks celery (or substitute 1 cucumber)

  • 3 inches ginger root

  • 1 lemon

I don't have a juicer so I blend in the Vitamix and strain through a nut milk bag. This "Mucus Cleansing Radish Juice" is good for removing mucus and phlegm from the system. Drink this if you have a cold.

Simple Smoothie

  • 2 cups water

  • ¼ cup greens (dandelion, beet, kale, spinach)

  • ½ cup frozen berries

  • 1 stalk of celery

  • 1 frozen banana

Cauliflower Smoothie

  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower

  • 1/2 cup loosely packed greens of choice

  • 3/4 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 teaspoon powdered cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger

  • 2 heaping tablespoon hulled hemp hearts

  • Generous pinch salt

  • Splash vanilla extract

  • 1 ripe banana

  • Filtered water

 

Sprinkle on top bee pollen granules, goji berries, lavender flowers.

Winter Smoothies
  • Half pear

  • Dandelion greens

  • Beet greens

  • 1/2 beet

  • Spinach

  • Cilantro and parsley

  • Alfalfa sprouts

  • 3 ice cubes

  • 1 heaping tablespoon Dr Schulze Superfood

  • Spring water, about 1 cup

Sprinkle on top bee pollen granules, goji berries

  • Water, almond milk, hemp milk, coconut water

Toppers:

  • Bee pollen granules

  • Goji berries

  • Vanilla bean powder

  • Sprouted buckwheat groats

Dr Schulze Liver Detox

  • 8 oz orange/lemon juice or apple/grape juice

  • 8 oz water

  • 1-5 garlic cloves (start with one and increase daily up to 5)

  • 1-5 tbs olive oil (start with one and increase daily up to 5)

  • 1 inch piece ginger root
