Flower Tea in bulk
  • 1 cup hibiscus petals (1/4 cup hibiscus powder)

  • ½ cup rosehips

  • ½ cup dried ginger root

  • ½ cup chamomile

  • ¼ cup lavender flowers

  • Handful of organic rose buds

After brewing add some honey and apple cider vinegar to make a cider. Or drink as is for an herbal tea.

Hibiscus Rosehips Cider
  • 1 Tbs hibiscus flower powder (or 4 Tbs hibiscus petals)

  • 1 Tbs lavender flowers

  • 2 Tbs rosehips

  • A few organic rose buds (optional)

  • 3 Tbs dried ginger root (or fresh grated)

  • 8 cups water

  • 2-3 Tbs honey

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

In a mason jar, add the dry herbs and flowers. Pour in 4 cups boiling water. Steep for 10-30 minutes. Add in honey and apple cider vinegar and another 4 cups water.​

Iced Turmeric Green Tea

Detox tea. Also add: Cilantro, parsley, ginger, turmeric, cayenne, citrus, apple cider vinegar

Iced Turmeric Green Tea 

  • 2 cups (500ml) water 

  • 1 inch fresh ginger root, minced 

  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric (or 1 inch fresh turmeric root)

  • 1 green tea bag

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1/4 cup (85g) honey 

  • Ice and fresh lime slices to serve (optional) 

Bring water close to a boil and add minced ginger, turmeric, honey, and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes then turn off the heat. Add the green tea bag and steep for 3 minutes, then take out. Strain out the solids using a fine mesh strainer and set aside. Fill a mason jar 3/4 height with ice cube, pour the tea over the ice. Add fresh lime juice, honey to taste, garnish with a slice of lime. Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory agent that helps the body absorb antioxidants and boost brain function.

Lemon Ginger Drink

  • 12 oz water at room temp

  • 1/2 lemon

  • 1/2 inch ginger root

 

Blend or finely grate ginger and mix. Ginger is strong and detoxing. It helps kick start your metabolism, and will keep it raised throughout the day, helping  you burn extra calories when you work out. Lemons are a natural detoxifier that have a diuretic effect, helping your body get rid of unwanted toxins.

Allergy Tea

 

  • Peppermint

  • Eucalyptus

  • Licorice root

  • Nettle

  • Ginger

  • Fennel

  • Calendula

Mix dried herbs together. Steep in boiling water for 5-20 minutes. Hot tea works best for allergies. Also good as iced tea.

Other helpful herbs include osha root, mullein, red clover, chaparral, elecampane, angelica, orange peel

Ginger Honey Tea

 

  • Fresh grated or chopped ginger

  • Honey

  • Lemon

Peel and grate the ginger. The best way to peel ginger is to scrape it with a spoon or butter knife. Add the ginger to boiling water. Just before serving add honey and a squeeze of lemon. This is great for colds and congestion.
