Super Tonic

  • Habanero Peppers

  • Garlic

  • Ginger root

  • Onion

  • Horseradish root

  • Apple cider vinegar to cover

The recipe is a tincture, a medicine made by dissolving a substance in alcohol. This process helps the body absorb all the nutrients in the concoction. It helps by alkalizing the body, aiding the digestive tract, and helps strengthen the immune system.

Chop ingredients and place in a glass jar. Cover with apple cider vinegar so it sits two inches above the herbs. Shake the tonic so that it is mixed well and let it settle. Shake every day. After 3-5 days strain through a piece of cheesecloth or fine mesh colander.

Allergy Tonic

 

  • Peppermint

  • Eucalyptus

  • Licorice

  • Nettle

  • Ginger

  • Fennel

  • Calendula

  • Ginko bilboa

Mix dried herbs together, cover with organic vodka her apple cider. Let sit for 3-5 days and strain into a jar. 

Ginger Honey Tea

 

  • Fresh grated or chopped ginger

  • Honey

  • Lemon

Peel and grate the ginger. The best way to peel ginger is to scrape it with a spoon or butter knife. Add the ginger to boiling water. Just before serving add honey and a squeeze of lemon. This is great for colds and congestion.
